Our collaborator is an international language interpreting and translating firm that has operated for over 30 years. It’s based in West Los Angeles, CA and service a wide array of corporate, legal, educational and governmental clients around the world. The company is well situated for continued growth in a rapidly growing industry.  

 

Sales/Marketing Intern:

Tasks: The intern will be performing work in the areas of internet marketing, database management, data mining, email marketing campaigns, internet research, recruiting, and special projects, among others.

Duration: 4 months minimum, 40 hours a week

Benefits: The intern will gain great exposure and experience in the Sales/Marketing Department related to international business.

Requirements:

- Sales/marketing/business major is a plus

- Attention for details

- Good written English and grammar skills

- Excellent computer skills

- Good organizational skills

- Ability for multitasking, work well with deadlines, and prioritize effectively

Translation/Project Coordinator Intern:

Tasks: The intern will work in the Translation Department. The tasks include sourcing projects, database blasts, editing, delivering projects, doing web postings, word counts, completing certifications, order entry, and filling jobs, among other tasks.

Duration: 4 months minimum, 40 hours a week

Requirements:

- Interest in international business and strong business communications background

- Very good attention to details

- Good written English and grammar skills

- Excellent computer skills

- Team player with a great attitude

Ability for multitasking, work well with deadlines, and prioritize effectively

Translation/Interpreting Project Coordinator

We seek to fill an internship position as a Translation Project Coordinator/Interpreting Coordinator. The intern will perform a “dual role” in both our departments.

Tasks:

- Translation Department: In the role as the Translation Project Coordinator, the intern will be doing a variety of tasks including communicating with vendors and clients, sourcing projects, database blasts, editing, delivering projects, doing web postings, word counts, completing certifications, order entry, and filling jobs, among other tasks.

- Interpreting Department: In the role as the Interpreting Coordinator, the intern will be performing work in the areas of scheduling interpreting assignments, communicating with interpreters, court reporting agencies, law firms and other clients; sending confirmations to interpreters and clients, entering assignment jobs into QuickBooks, sourcing (researching) for interpreters in the company database, and searching online for additional resources, among others.
