Our collaborator works to create communities in Northern Ireland in which vulnerable children and adults, many with learning disabilities, can live, learn and work with others in healthy social relationships based on mutual care and respect. The facility is inspired by Christian ideals as articulated by Rudolf Steiner and is based on the acceptance of the spiritual uniqueness of each human being, regardless of disability or religious or racial background.
-Helping the residents with their daily lives and work at the farm, garden, hoeseholds etc.
-Full-board, 3 meals and 2 tea breaks
-For a full year: 20 days holidays
-1 ½ day a week free
-At all other times the interns are asked to be available, according to a reasonable daily routine
-Please be aware that this is not a usual 9 to 4 internship, but more a way of life. Weekend are often more relaxed
-There is an Introductory Course, in which the company shares their Christian ideals with you and try to explain why they are doing things the way they do.
